("TakeShape," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) on our websites and services, including www.takeshape.io and app.takeshape.io (the "Services"). 1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Cookies set by us are "first-party cookies"; cookies set by other companies providing services to us are "third-party cookies."
2) How we use cookies
TakeShape is a business-to-business company and keeps its data footprint small. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential: required to operate the Services — for example, authentication and session management, security, and fraud prevention (including payment security cookies set by Stripe and bot protection provided by Google reCAPTCHA). These cannot be switched off through our tools because the Services do not work without them.
- Functional: remember choices you make so the Services work more smoothly — for example, remembering the state of the Sign in with Google prompt so you are not shown it repeatedly. Blocking these cookies does not break the Services but may make sign-in less convenient.
Analytics without cookies: to understand how visitors use our website, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is designed to measure site usage without cookies, fingerprinting, or tracking individual visitors.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell personal information collected through cookies.

4) Third-party cookies
Where third parties set cookies through our Services, they do so to provide services to us and are required to protect the data they process. - Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services (such as signing in) from working.
- Cookie preferences tool: where implemented on our site, you can manage non-essential cookie categories through our cookie preferences tool.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.
Where EU/UK or similar laws apply, we rely on consent for non-essential cookies and on legitimate interests for essential operation and security of the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy (§4, Legal bases).

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we change the cookies or providers we use. We will revise the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required.
